Our Online Courses
All our online language courses are delivered with the same focus on actually learning to communicate in a foreign language, rather than just studying rules and vocabulary lists. We provide an online ‘classroom’ via Zoom, and the maximum number of students in any class is 6.
Your Mandarin Teacher
My name is Wei, I was born in Beijing but grew up abroad. I speak several languages and have been teaching Chinese for over 10 years. I have a bachelor degree on linguistics and currently getting my master’s degree in languages in the U.K and France.
The start of studying a foreign language can be painful, but also can be fun. No matter what your purpose is, I think you should learn about the culture as well as trying to learn the language. Let me help you make it happen – I can’t wait to get to know you, and I’m sure we can make progress together.

Beginner's Mandarin - 5 Weeks - 7.5 Hours
The class covers Chinese pronunciation rules and practice (Pinyin and Chinese phonetics/tones), the basic grammar and language structure, as well as some techniques to remember Chinese characters.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings. Price online: £60

IMprover's Mandarin - 5 Weeks - 7.5 Hours
You will learn how to introduce yourself, talk about what you do in your spare time, and accept (or politely decline) an invitation. Perfect if you already know some Mandarin and you would like to better interact with Chinese people.
Monday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings. Price online: £60
