Teachers

As the most important component to our group language courses, all our teachers are carefully selected to make sure you will always receive the highest quality lessons with us.

All your lessons with us will be taught by qualified and experienced teachers, who will also be native speakers in your target language.

Take a look below for some further information on some of our regular teachers:

Laia – Spanish

I’m from Barcelona and I’m a Spanish teacher. I studied Humanities at university, and then did a master’s degree in Teacher Training of Spanish as a Foreign Language.

I have lived in Spain, Italy, Croatia, Germany and now I am living in the United Kingdom (Leeds). I speak Spanish, Catalan, English and Italian and I understand French and German a little bit.

I have been working in the sector of education for more than 4 years now teaching adults Spanish in small groups, face to face and online, and I absolutely love my job.

Mégane – French

I am originally from a little town called Saint-Omer, in Northern France. I now live in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Thanks to my love of foreign languages, I graduated in English and American literature and linguistics at Université Lille III Charles de Gaulle and now teach French, German and Spanish in England.

I am a qualified and experienced teacher with QTS from Leeds Trinity University and I am currently working on obtaining a MA in Education.

Over the past 6 years, I have had experience in teaching French to many different levels and people and I am now looking forward to help you learn about my native language but also about French culture in general

Irene – Italian

I am not only a teacher of Italian, but also an English/Italian translator.

I’ve been teaching Italian for the past fifteen years, and I have taught university courses as well as small group and individual classes. I have taught in the USA, New Zealand and Italy, as well as in the UK.

I have experience teaching online, and I have just finished an online training course on how to improve my teaching skills in a virtual classroom – so I look forward to meeting my new students through languagexchanges!
